Sculpt Pro Aesthetics FAQs

How Does the Tesla Seat Work?

The Tesla Seat uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HI-EMT) technology to stimulate deep pelvic floor muscles.

• The device delivers electromagnetic energy to the pelvic region

• This triggers supramaximal muscle contractions (far stronger than voluntary exercise)

• Muscles contract thousands of times in a single session

• This re-educates and strengthens the pelvic floor

During a typical 28–30 minute session, the entire pelvic floor is activated, helping restore strength, control, and function.

Key Benefits

• Strengthens pelvic floor muscles

• Helps treat urinary incontinence

• Improves bladder control

• Enhances core stability

• Improves sexual function and sensation

• Supports postnatal recovery

• Non-invasive with no downtime

What Can It Treat?

The Tesla Seat is ideal for addressing:

• Stress and urge urinary incontinence

• Weak pelvic floor muscles

• Post-pregnancy muscle laxity

• Erectile dysfunction

• Reduced sexual satisfaction

• Lower back discomfort linked to weak core muscles

Weak pelvic floor muscles are extremely common and can affect both men and women, often impacting confidence and quality of life.

• Men and women experiencing bladder weakness

• Patients with reduced pelvic floor strength

• Clients looking for a non-invasive alternative to surgery

Treatment Protocol

• Typically recommended as a course of 6 sessions

• Treatments are usually performed 2 times per week

• Maintenance sessions may be recommended

Patients remain fully clothed and seated throughout the treatment.

Results

• Improved bladder control after a few sessions

• Increased pelvic strength and endurance

• Enhanced confidence and quality of life

• Continued improvement after completing the course

After a full course, patients often develop better muscle control and long-term functional improvement.

Is There Any Downtime?

There is no downtime with the Tesla Seat.

Patients can:

• Return to normal activities immediately

• Resume work or exercise straight after treatment

Some may experience a mild tingling sensation or muscle fatigue, similar to a workout.

Why Choose the Tesla Seat?

The Tesla Seat stands out because it:

• Delivers thousands of muscle contractions in one session

• Treats an area that is difficult to target with exercise alone

• Is completely non-invasive and discreet

• Requires no recovery time

• Offers real functional and lifestyle benefits

It is often described as “a pelvic floor workout while you sit.”

Contraindications

While the Tesla seat is a safe and non-invasive treatment for many patients, it is not suitable for everyone. Therefore, a full consultation will be required to assess individual suitability. The Tesla seat is NOT suitable for patients with:

Medical Implants & Devices

– Cardiac pace makers

– Implanted defibrillators

– Neurostimulators or electronic implants

– Drug pumps

These devices may be affected by the electromagnetic energy used during treatment.

Metal in the body

– Metal implants (e.g. rods, pins, plates)

– Orthopaedic implants or joint replacements

– Metal IUD (coil)

Metal can interfere with the electromagnetic field and pose safety risks.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

– Pregnant women

– Breastfeeding women

Treatment is avoided as a precaution due to lack of safety data.

Certain Medical Conditions

– Active or suspected malignancy (cancer)

– Pulmonary insufficiency

– Fever or acute illness

– Large uterine fibroids

These conditions may increase risk or require medical clearance.

Recent surgery or injury

– Recent surgical procedures

– Unhealed wounds or open lesions in the treatment area

– Muscle injuries or impaired muscle function

– Unrepaired hernia or recent hernia repair

Muscle contractions could disrupt healing or worsen the condition.

Skin and sensory issues

– Areas with reduced or absent sensation

This may prevent patients from safely detecting discomfort during treatment.
